AVSEC Duty Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise aviation security operations during the assigned shift.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings, confirm post assignments, and ensure staff readiness.
• Monitor deployment, post coverage, and manage ad-hoc staff movement as required.
• Act as the main point of contact for our client and other stakeholders during the shift.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, or client concerns and escalate as per SOPs.
• Review logbooks, incident reports, and checkpoint documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure implementation of aviation security SOPs, QHSE protocols, and client’s aviation security requirements.
• Supervise and support supervisors in enforcing grooming, discipline, and service standards.
• Facilitate shift handover briefings and ensure smooth operational transitions.
• Report staffing issues (absences, sickness) and liaise with deployment and admin Officers.
• Participate in toolbox talks, audits, and provide on-ground coaching and mentoring.
• Submit end-of-shift reports with incident summaries, observations, and improvement recommendations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in aviation security supervision.
• Certified X-ray operator.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Arabic language is an advantage.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Immediate availability.

AVSEC Instructor

• Certified by ICAO and/or IATA
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation security

• Experience as an X-ray operator is required
